Blink Outdoor 4 is Alexa-only as far as Blink says: its FAQ points to the Blink SmartHome skill, and nothing mentions Apple Home or Google Home. The camera is IP65 and runs on two AA lithium batteries. It reaches Wi-Fi through a Sync Module, and local clip storage works only with a Sync Module 2 or XR.

• Hub: Blink says the Outdoor 4 needs a Sync Module to connect to your Wi-Fi. It works with any Blink Sync Module and is sold separately or in bundles.
• Local control: Blink does not state what works without its cloud.
• Type: IP65 weather resistant. Removing the port cover voids that rating unless it is powered over USB-C with a weather-resistant adapter.
• Power: Two AA 1.5 V non-rechargeable lithium batteries included, rated up to 2 years at default settings. Optional weather-resistant power adapter or Battery Extension Pack (US and Canada), both sold separately.
