The SwitchBot Lock Pro reaches Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, SmartThings and Home Assistant only through a SwitchBot hub: Hub 2 or Hub Mini Matter Enabled, with SmartThings and Home Assistant listed for the Mini only. The lock itself is a Bluetooth retrofit that runs on 4 × AA batteries, up to 9 months, and has no keypad unless you add a Keypad Touch or Keypad Vision. This is the non-Matter US model, not the EU Matter Enabled one.

Specs that matter for setup
- Local control
- Unconfirmed
- Keypad
- No[1]
- Radio: Bluetooth Low Energy to the phone, keypad and SwitchBot Hub. No Wi-Fi in the lock; remote control goes through a hub.
- Hub: A SwitchBot Hub is needed for remote control, Matter and smart-home platforms. Whether the lock works from the app over Bluetooth without a hub is not stated on the pages we saw.
- Local control: No SwitchBot source states local-only control.
- Fit: Fits over the existing lock and keeps it. SwitchBot's North America compatibility page covers single deadbolts; rim and mortise locks need a support check.
- Keypad: Keypad Touch and Keypad Vision are separate accessories.
- Power: 4 × AA included, up to 9 months. One spec line on the US store page says 3 × 18350; SwitchBot's main Lock Pro page lists only AA. A Dual Power Pack is sold separately.
Before you buy
- Remote control, Matter and platform links need a SwitchBot Hub, sold separately.
- SmartThings and Home Assistant are listed only through the Hub Mini Matter Enabled.
- Rim and mortise locks need a fit check with SwitchBot support; some US installs need a 3D-printed adaptor.
- Not the same product as the Lock Pro Matter Enabled sold in the EU.
