The FRITZ DECT 200 only works through an AVM FRITZ Box with a DECT base, and Home Assistant picks it up from there. It talks DECT ULE rather than Wi-Fi, so it won't join a network without one. It measures power and voltage, logs consumption by hour, day, month and year, and switches up to 2300 W. AVM's pages mention no Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, SmartThings or Matter support.

- Radio: The plug talks DECT ULE to a FRITZ!Box (AVM's current spec page says DECT-ULE), which isn't in the radio list, so no radio is recorded. AVM's FRITZ!DECT 200 shop address now opens the FRITZ!Smart Energy 200 page.
- Hub: Needs a FRITZ!Box with a DECT base; AVM's current page says FRITZ!OS 6.83 or newer, and not the FRITZ!Box 7412. The FRITZ!Box is the router, so no separate bridge is sold.
- Local control: Home Assistant polls the FRITZ!Box locally, but AVM says during an internet outage automatic switching is limited, routines stop and the FRITZ!App Smart Home can't connect. AVM's article (filed under the DECT 200, titled for the DECT 500) doesn't say what works offline.
- Energy monitoring: Shows current power and voltage and records consumption per hour, day, month and year.
- Max load: AVM's knowledge base gives 2300 W for resistive loads and 2300 VA for inductive loads at 230 V; the current product page says up to 2300 W.
