Specs that matter for setup
- Radio: 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only (802.11b/g/n). Bluetooth 4.2 is used only for setup.
- Hub: The Tapo UK page says no hub is required; it joins your 2.4 GHz router directly.
- Local control: Home Assistant's TP-Link integration controls it over the local network, though newer firmware needs TP-Link account credentials to authenticate. We found no TP-Link page on Tapo-app control without internet.
- Energy monitoring: TP-Link's plug FAQ says the P110 and P115 measure energy and the P100 does not; the UK P100 pages list no energy monitoring.
- Max load: 13 A / 2990 W, 1/6 HP motor, 220-240 V. The EU version is 10 A / 2300 W.
